Terrance Reimer and Michael Ambrose Exhibition at Kings Art Center

View the photography of WCI Expert Printmaker Terrance Reimer, as well as WCI Print Lab Client Michael Ambrose at the Kings Art Center from January 12 to February 17, 2008, at the Kings Art Center in Hanford, California.

The exhibition includes the dramatic 4x5 landscape photography of Ambrose, coupled with a selection of images from Reimer's Route 66 series.

Ambrose makes his prints using Fuji Crystal Archive Matte to display the vibrant and varied colors he finds in the Sierra. Ambrose's large prints show the immense resolution possible from a large film original--resolutionthat dwarfs conventional dSLRs.

Reimer has chosen to print his images on Crane Silver Rag for this exhibition. This paper emphasizes the deep blacks of his 35mm infrared film photos, and allows him a palette of tones that goes beyond those typically found in prints from infrared film. Reimer's technique allows him to make prints of stunning size and clarity from this challenging film.

The Kings Art Center will host an opening reception on Friday, January 11, 2008, from 5:30 to 8 PM. The center is located at 605 N. Douty Street in Hanford.

This exhibition is open to the public, with free admission. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 3PM.

West Coast Imaging Celebrates Ten Amazing Years!

This new year marks our tenth anniversary of making fine art prints for customers. We want to thank all of you who have made West Coast Imaging possible.

We started West Coast Imaging because we thought there was a better way to make fine art quality prints, where photographers could work directly with experienced printmakers, who intrinsically understand photography, and what an exhibition-quality print is supposed to look like.

Our goal remains the same today, which is why thousands of photographers trust us for their scans, printing, and digital imaging needs.

Though the tools of photography are changing, the basis for great photography remains the same: photographers telling their stories with light and color.

As we continue this journey, we remain committed to providing the unique quality and service that are required to make exhibition-quality prints. We can't wait to see what the future holds!

Adam Barker Featured in Salt Lake City

View the landscape and adventure photography of Adam Barker at the Porcupine Pub & Grille in Salt Lake City. The show runs through January 2008 and features 17 pieces, ranging in size from 12x18 to 26x40. Most of the prints were printed by West Coast Imaging using our Print Lab service.
